Calf Clear Bolus by Matrix Animal Health

Comprehensive Immunoglobulin Support for new born calves Calves

Calf Clear is a hyper-immunized (5-in-1) protein capsule that delivers an immediate, broad-spectrum dose of immunoglobulins, essential for bolstering the immune system and promoting gut health in new born calves. This product is indispensable for calf-rearing operations, especially for those encountering challenges associated with enteric disturbances that lead to diarrhoea.

New born calves are born immunologically naïve, lacking maternal antibodies, which renders them particularly vulnerable to infections and digestive disorders. The first 14 days of life are critical, as this period often correlates with increased morbidity and mortality, primarily due to dehydration resulting from scours. Administering Calf Clear within the first 8 hours post-partum can significantly enhance the calf's ability to combat enteric pathogens and maintain hydration.

Key Benefits:

• Promotes Gastrointestinal Health: Formulated to support a balanced gut microbiome, reducing the incidence of diarrhoea and other digestive disturbances.
• Optimal Early Administration: Recommended for use within the first 8 hours of life to maximize immunological support and mitigate early-life health risks.
• Enhances Neonatal Immunity: Provides immediate immuno-protection, supporting the calf's natural defence mechanisms from day one.
• User-Friendly Application: Designed for easy administration, facilitating rapid delivery of critical nutrients.
• Cost-Effective Solution: An economically viable option for enhancing calf health and reducing losses during the vulnerable neonatal period.
